The Loudest Pen Ever is a blog about a pen, a woman, and her music. The pen is the tool that the woman uses to ink. Through the pen, the woman tells her life story. The music of the woman consists of 80s & 90s Hip-hop and RnB. On the Loudest Pen Ever, you'll see profiles on different successful artists from the 80s and 90s. These artists are the ones that Penny tries to imitate on the regular, but, since she usually fails, LoudPen writes about them on the blog. On the Loudest Pen Ever, you'll find profiles on Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Jay-Z, Aaliyah and much more.
However, the Loudest Pen Ever chooses to focus on these artists in a unique way. LoudPen doesn't gossip about the artists' personal lives or even report many facts of their lives, instead LoudPen chooses to focus on their music & fashion sense. The music & fashion sense of an artist is all the public is supposed to know, therefore, anything else is sometimes irrelevant.
By focusing on the "height" of various artists' careers, it gives LoudPen and you (the Paper Chasers) a chance to reminisce about when music was good, and when you didn't have to follow the artist on Twitter or you weren't considered cool. Basically, LoudPen is taking you back, way back into time. So sit back, relax and hear the words of the pen. Check out the descriptions of each daily post which are designed to make you hear the pen.
The Pen Has Spoken (Monday): On this post, you will hear the pen speak about this crazy blogosphere and how the pen feels inking in it. Basically, this is LoudPen's chance to assess the process of the blog & the happenings of the blogosphere. Occasionally, she'll assess the progress of her personal life, but, don't worry she'll make that pen go BOOM!
Say What?! "Quote of the Week" (Tuesday): During this post, the pen will help you understand the words of the songbook. You will also be invited to explore those words. Essentially, this post is a lyrical analysis where LoudPen inks her interpretation of the song and invites readers (the Paper Chasers) to comment on what they think.
Buzz-Kill of the Week (Wednesday): On this post, LoudPen will try to get you to laugh while you hear the Buzz-Kills of the pen. Usually, this post is a video post where LoudPen gets to show her comedic personality & complain about the misshaps that have happened to her that week. And remember since Wednesday is the middle of the week, which is a Buzz-Kill day, so is the post. Get it? If ya don't not sure what ta tell ya.
The Musings of a Pen (Thursday): During this post, you get to wander through the musings of a pen. This post will either be "freestyle" from the rapper Penny or if LoudPen is profiling an artist she will discuss how & why that artist has affected her life.
At One Point This Was In Style (Friday): For this post, The Chic Consultant will show you what she can't believe we used to wear. This post will be a picture or video post of something that used to be in style.
Video Hot Pick of the Week (Sunday): On this post, you will see videos that make the pen and page dance and try and imitate the artist being featured. Then the pen helps you explore the visual imagery in the video.
